ENPOWER at European Researchers’ Night 2025 in Banja Luka

On Friday, 26 September, Dom Omladine in Banja Luka hosted European Researchers’ Night, an international celebration of science and innovation held simultaneously in several cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event brought together exhibitors from the wider northern region, with a strong focus on showcasing new knowledge, engaging demonstrations, and inspiring interaction with young audiences.

The venue welcomed a large number of visitors, particularly primary and high-school students, who had the opportunity to explore diverse fields ranging from medicine and technology to health, nutrition, and renewable energy sources.

A special highlight of the programme was the presentation of the Horizon Europe project ENPOWER. Prof. Dr. Darija Gajić and Slobodan Peulić introduced the project’s goals and activities, while Prof. Dr. Petar Gvero delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the importance of European cooperation in research and innovation. He underlined the benefits such projects bring to society, particularly for younger generations who are the future drivers of sustainable change.

ENPOWER representatives stressed that events like these are essential to inspire young people, sparking curiosity in science and showing them that the future lies in innovation, sustainability, and European collaboration.
