ENPOWER was represented by Francisco García and Tommaso Spiga from project partner SITES at the Joint National Conference 2026 in Dublin, an event hosted by the South East Energy Agency and organised in the framework of the EU PEERS, SCEPA and DeCarb Pro projects. The conference brought together around 100 participants from European and national institutions, energy agencies, local authorities and practitioners to discuss the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Recast, with a strong focus on energy poverty and the transition towards climate neutrality.
The programme combined high-level contributions, including a keynote message from Mary Robinson, with sessions dedicated to One-Stop Shops, integrated home renovation services and practical implementation pathways. These themes are closely aligned with ENPOWER’s work on energy poverty, stakeholder engagement and policy transfer. The insights gathered in Dublin will support the project’s ongoing reflections on accessible renovation support, socially sensitive implementation and the role of local action in delivering fair energy transitions.
