ENPOWER On-Site At EUSEW 2026

ENPOWER was present at European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2026 in Brussels, Europe’s largest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use. This year’s 20th edition took place from 9th to 11th June 2026 in hybrid format under the overarching theme “A clean, secure and competitive Energy Union”, with a Policy Conference programme of 50 sessions and an Energy Fair running alongside it at the Charlemagne building.

For ENPOWER, the value of being at EUSEW was not only in following the conference itself, but in seeing how closely Europe’s clean-energy priorities intersect with the project’s own ambitions.  The policy discussions, networking spaces and Energy Fair conversations all pointed to one central lesson, that technical progress only becomes meaningful when it is translated into policies, tools and services that reach households, local authorities and vulnerable communities.

ENPOWER’s presence at EUSEW therefore served as a useful reminder of the project’s direction of travel. The project’s next steps remain firmly focused on research capacity, evidence-based policy advice and Living Lab methodologies that can help turn high-level energy ambitions into locally grounded action. In that sense, EUSEW offered the broader European frame within which ENPOWER’s work continues to evolve.
