The ENPOWER project was represented at PRIJEDOR EXPO 2026, the 5th Fair of Economy and Municipal Equipment, held in Prijedor on 3rd September 2026. The event brought together utility companies, businesses, institutions and experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region, with a programme focused on municipal services, modern equipment, new technologies, innovation and local development.
As part of the programme, Prof. Petar Gvero, ENPOWER Project Coordinator, participated as a panellist in the conference “Municipal Services as a Prerequisite for Quality of Life and Development”. Representing the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, and ENPOWER, he contributed to discussions addressing the role of efficient and sustainable public services in supporting quality of life and the development of local communities.
The participation provided an opportunity to bring ENPOWER’s perspective into a broader regional discussion on energy, sustainability and the challenges faced by communities. In particular, the event offered a space to connect questions around energy and efficient services with the wider social and development context in which communities operate.
PRIJEDOR EXPO 2026 also contributed to ENPOWER’s ongoing stakeholder engagement by strengthening links with representatives from the public, academic and business sectors. Such exchanges support the project’s wider ambition to connect research and innovation with practical challenges and to foster cooperation around more sustainable, efficient and resilient solutions for communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
