ENPOWER is pleased to announce a new RMA Webinar Series, created to support the development of research managers and administrators working across European and regional research environments. The series brings together three focused 90-minute webinars in late May and June, each designed to address a core area of research support practice and strengthen the skills needed to navigate collaborative, multi-partner projects.
The programme opened this Thursday, 28th of May with “IPR for Research Managers”, a session dedicated to the Horizon Europe intellectual property framework, including grant agreement and consortium agreement basics, background and foreground IP, joint ownership, the EPO no-grace-period rule, and conflict-based case studies.
On Thursday 18th of June, the second webinar, “Partnership Building & Consortium Strategy”, will focus on reading Horizon Europe calls strategically, identifying complementarities, and using partner-search tools such as CORDIS, NCP networks and EIT KICs to distinguish between partners who are strong on paper and those who deliver effectively in practice.
The series will conclude on Thursday 25th of June with “Leadership Programme for Research Managers”, a webinar exploring the RM Comp competence framework, the RM1 to RM4 progression, interest-based negotiation, the CALM conflict-resolution model, and cultural intelligence in mixed EU and regional consortia. Together, the three webinars reflect ENPOWER’s broader commitment to capacity building, institutional learning and practical support for research excellence. By investing in the people and processes that underpin successful collaboration, the project continues to strengthen the foundations for impactful research and long-term partnerships.
